Jody Powell

This is my 23rd year in education. I began teaching in Burleson, Texas as a special education teacher at Norwood Elementary and Academy at Nola Dunn (Elementary) prior to moving to Kentucky.

For the past 21 years in Kentucky, I have worked at Woodford County Middle School and Winburn Middle School, where I served as a special education teacher, ELA teacher, Professional Growth and Effectiveness Coach, Administrative Dean, and Assistant Principal prior to transitioning to Yates Elementary as Assistant Principal.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve Yates Elementary students, staff and families.  I look forward to meeting our families and building relationships to ensure that each and every student has the best elementary experience and experiences success.
